Your wedding day shouldn’t feel like an endless photoshoot but a celebration of you two! We believe 20% of your wedding should be us directing you for portraits and telling you what to do with your hands & 80% should be candid moments, spontaneous dance parties with your besties, and warm hugs from grandma.
My style is a combination of lifestyle, documentary, and an impressionistic type of photography. My goal is to create images for you that are timeless; bright and vibrant feeling; and that show happiness, joy, love, and connection
I absolutely love my job as a Charleston wedding photographer and have been shooting weddings + elopements in Charleston SC and all along the East Coast since 2012. To date, I‘ve had the honor of photographing nearly 300 weddings! It’s so important for me to connect with my couples because my ultimate goal is for it to feel like I‘m just a good friend with a fancy camera, celebrating with you on your wedding day.
I am fortunate enough to say that I live in the city of Charleston, South Carolina, surrounded by saltwater and Spanish moss with my beautiful wife and three amazing daughters. I am a firm believer in true love, and I try my hardest to document it in its most raw and authentic form. Shooting film allows me to be completely in the moment, patiently waiting for windows of honesty and those sparks that make each couple unique. It gives me overwhelming joy to provide my clients a way to relive such a meaningful occasion for the rest of their lives!
Dock House Digital was inspired and created around my love for all things coastal; an unexplained calmness it brings, its ease and ethereal-nature. My goal has been to create each of my wedding films to embody these same characteristics. Stylistically, I work effortlessly to create a film that suits each individual couple. This is why you‘ll notice that no two films of mine are exactly the same. Your relationship with your partner and your wedding day are unique to you and I’m a strong believer that your wedding films should be as well!|Throughout my journey as a wedding cinematographer I‘ve been fortunate to have filmed weddings not only in the states but in the South of France, Mexico, and Denmark to name a few. I’ve been blessed with accolades such as “2017‘s Best Wedding Cinematographer” by Borrowed & Blue, named one of the “50 Most Influential People in Charleston,” and being inducted into The Knot’s Hall of Fame in 2018. In my career, up to this point, I‘ve filmed over 400 weddings worldwide and I can’t wait to see where future couples take me!
Creating film has been the product of emotion for me. In 2013, my friends and I created a bucket list of things to do over the summer and called it “The List”. My need for adventure turned into a passion for documenting lifelong memories. In 2017 I took my passion and spread it along the US East Coast. From Pennsylvania to Charleston, I’ve spent the last several years helping businesses and couples share their stories of passion through film. Their love is my love and together we make The List Productions.
Our films express the fun, emotional and heart-felt stories of each of our clients. We believe in creating film that last a lifetime and will be cherished for generations. The sons, daughters and grandchildren of our clients will grow up watching these wedding films, looking back on their parents on the happiest day of their life together.
