We are Charleston Wedding Photographers, Aaron, and Jillian! Since meeting in Asia, back in 2009 (yep, you heard that right!), we‘ve lived a full and exciting life together! We’ve opened this business together, traveled to 18 different countries (five of those trips were to shoot weddings!), raised one heck of an adorable yellow lab (Boone!), and photographed over 250 weddings together! We’re basically attached at the hip – and we love it that way!

Britt’s natural-light style is a blend of a photo-journalistic approach with an editorial look and feel. With an eye for detail and an easy-going personality, she’s able to capitalize on the fun, spontaneous moments, while quietly observing during more intimate and romantic moments. Your final collection of images will be heartfelt, timeless, and real. She loves working with warm, fun couples who take their upcoming marriage seriously but don’t take themselves too seriously, and in the spirit of quality over quantity, Britt accepts only 10-12 weddings per year to ensure everyone really gets known, seen, and more than adequately loved on!

I began my photography journey 16 years ago as a studio portrait photographer with a fashion edge for one of the top studios in the US. That time taught me all about lighting, composition, and how to master my medium of choice – film. When it was time to start my own career 6 years later, I chose weddings because of the timeless aspect to it. These images are meant to be heirlooms, passed down to future generations as a representation of the only eternal truth. Love.

Even though I find myself on airplanes for most of my weddings these days, I think I’ll always find the most comfort and familiarity with weddings on the Lowcountry marsh under those beautiful oaks. My couples tend to be sentimental, intentional and community-based individuals; they can’t imagine getting married without their crew by their side and a live band is the only way for them to dance the night away. Dinnertime and toasts are my favorite part of a wedding day-how rare is it that you get to have all the people you love, sitting in one place, exchanging and sharing stories about the couple that brought them all together. During the weekends that I’m not working, you’ll find me throwing dinner parties for friends, playing progressive rummy or devouring a new novel with a glass of red wine.

My goal is to make you feel comfortable, beautiful, and cared about. I love relationships and friendships more than I love photography. The heart and soul behind JNP is to come alongside you, love and serve you well, while also preserving memories from when you are together began.

I‘m Kate, a former Jersey girl putting down roots in Charleston, SC. I’m a former elementary school teacher, wife to my college sweetheart (Go Hokies!), Tyler, and mom to our two cute, yet crazy boys, Hudson and Beckham.
Most days you‘ll find me drinking La Croix, listening to Thomas Rhett and Taylor Swift, and (shamelessly) watching The Bachelor. I have been told by more than one #kdyecouple that I remind them of Anna Kendrick both in the way I look and because my voice gets all high pitched when I can’t contain my enthusiasm after getting a magical shot.

I love capturing moments that bring back memories when you look at a photo years later. My photography style is candid, photo-journalistic, natural, detail oriented, lovey-dovey, and fun! I also love truly getting to know my couples and feeling like a part of the family on the wedding day. My brides and grooms become my people!

We‘re your husband & wife Charleston based wedding photographers & we’ve been shooting weddings since 2009!
Your wedding day shouldn’t feel like an endless photoshoot but a celebration of you two! We believe 20% of your wedding should be us directing you for portraits and telling you what to do with your hands & 80% should be candid moments, spontaneous dance parties with your besties, and warm hugs from grandma.

My style is a combination of lifestyle, documentary, and an impressionistic type of photography. My goal is to create images for you that are timeless; bright and vibrant feeling; and that show happiness, joy, love, and connection

I absolutely love my job as a Charleston wedding photographer and have been shooting weddings + elopements in Charleston SC and all along the East Coast since 2012. To date, I‘ve had the honor of photographing nearly 300 weddings! It’s so important for me to connect with my couples because my ultimate goal is for it to feel like I‘m just a good friend with a fancy camera, celebrating with you on your wedding day.
