Guests arrive at Charleston International Airport and make their way to Kiawah Island, where they are welcomed by the island’s serene landscapes and charming hospitality. The accommodations range from luxurious oceanfront villas to cozy cottages, ensuring comfort and privacy for all.

From kayaking tours, brewery tours, relaxing by one of the many pristine beaches or enjoying an afternoon stroll downtown Charleston we will assist you in curating an amazing wedding weekend itinerary. Kicking off your wedding weekend with a Rehearsal Dinner at Mingo Point. We will kick off your weekend with sweeping views of the Marsh and some of the most breathtaking sunsets while hosting your rehearsal dinner at Mingo Point. Your guests will enjoy a casual yet elegant atmosphere, and we love featuring a Southern-inspired cuisine menu, including fresh seafood, Lowcountry boil, oyster roasts, and of course some classic Charleston mini desserts like pecan pie and Huguenot torte.

On your wedding day you can enjoy getting ready at the Sanctuary Spa or the Cassique Clubhouse. Our planning team will guide you through the options to make sure the details are covered, champagne is on ice, and you and your besties have everything you need.

The wedding ceremony takes place on the Ocean Course’s grand lawn, with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean. We design our ceremonies around what our couples envision, and love incorporating a lush floral arbor or aisle markers. You deserve to walk down the aisle of your dreams when you are marrying the love of your life.

Following the ceremony, guests are treated to a cocktail hour on the veranda of the Ocean Course Clubhouse or on the lush greenery lawn. Signature cocktails will be served alongside gourmet hors d’oeuvres, allowing guests to mingle and enjoy the stunning views.

This is also a place we love adding in personalized details including custom bar signage, escort wall display, embroidered aprons, and monogrammed napkins, no detail is left undone.

The reception is held on the lower lawn of the Ocean Course Club House. We love this location as it gives us a blank canvas to create something unique for our couples. This intimate wedding featured a sailcloth tent, and had coastal design detail throughout. The tables are designed with low, abundant floral centerpieces that incorporate a variety of pastel-colored flowers, including soft pinks, peaches, and creams. These arrangements add a romantic and whimsical touch to the decor.

Wedding Tip: We love the idea of creating varied centerpieces to keep your tablescapes interesting. However, outdoor venues can pose challenges, especially if wind is a concern. Make sure to discuss your design with your florist to ensure it will hold up against natural elements and stay beautiful throughout your celebration.
