Today, young individuals wake up and immediately scroll through their favorite apps as if they are reading the morning paper.

Social apps are the present-day newspaper to a generation that has grown up immersed in technology. It is how the most important decisions are made: where to go, what to eat, what to watch…inevitably who they want to hire for their wedding! We have to keep up with change, and become more creative and original with our digital and social media marketing.

Ok we have pinpointed where to Cater Towards Gen Z, but how can we take this knowledge to the next level and how to use these digital platforms to our advantage?

Instagram is an ever-growing and thriving platform, that will only keep evolving and attracting new users. Unlike Facebook, who’s more often used by older generations, Instagram is heavily dominated by the youth. The Instagram story feature, launched in 2016 and heavily influenced by Snapchat, has become widely popular and frequents the most views. Users can edit pictures and videos and even provide links within the story, to engaged with your followers. A recent survey shows that “59 percent of Gen Z respondents said they use their YouTube app a lot more than they did a year prior.” In return, YouTube is still growing and attractive new users everyday. The short video format that Vine was, and TikTok now has is perfect to grab a Gen Z viewer’s attention. With 500 million active users worldwide, this app ranks ninth among social-networking sites, ahead of LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, and Snapchat. TikToks are becoming the most shared across platforms. If it starts on TikTok, it will makes its way to Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.

Dock House Digital was inspired and created around my love for all things coastal; an unexplained calmness it brings, its ease and ethereal-nature. My goal has been to create each of my wedding films to embody these same characteristics. Stylistically, I work effortlessly to create a film that suits each individual couple. This is why you‘ll notice that no two films of mine are exactly the same. Your relationship with your partner and your wedding day are unique to you and I’m a strong believer that your wedding films should be as well!|Throughout my journey as a wedding cinematographer I‘ve been fortunate to have filmed weddings not only in the states but in the South of France, Mexico, and Denmark to name a few. I’ve been blessed with accolades such as “2017‘s Best Wedding Cinematographer” by Borrowed & Blue, named one of the “50 Most Influential People in Charleston,” and being inducted into The Knot’s Hall of Fame in 2018. In my career, up to this point, I‘ve filmed over 400 weddings worldwide and I can’t wait to see where future couples take me!

I hammered out the design and got to work, utilizing my handyman skills and vintage wood to create something I would be proud to have at my own wedding!
The first iteration of this mobile bar only had four taps since I thought I’d be serving just beer, wine, and cider. Now that we added signature cocktails our offerings, we have increased the number of taps to six!

Cru Bar

We love to match cocktails to the celebrations our clients are planning for their guests and family to enjoy alike. Our mixologists can create any signature cocktail you can imagine and our team will walk you through the endless possibilities.

Wander Bar

The Wander Bar is owned by husband and wife team, Mark and Gabrielle Partridge. Gabrielle has been bartending in upscale establishments from North Carolina to California for over 15 years. She managed bar programs in Southern California for over five years, working alongside top chefs in the region to create seasonal infusions and libations and consulting on several bar/restaurant openings. Her cocktails are published both locally and nationally, online and in print. She has won cocktail competitions sponsored by Fernet Branca and St. George Spirits, to name a few. She finds her inspiration through fresh, artisanal ingredients and curating signature cocktails to her clients’ tastes.
